Beth McCall became the Executive Director of the Munroe Foundation in October of 2005, and remained there until September 2013. During her tenure as the Executive Director, the Foundation raised over $7 million for Munroe Regional Medical Center. Her projects included the construction of the Children’s Emergency Department and the expansion of the operating suites and new surgical waiting room, among others. Beth also earned her Certified Fundraising Executive certification while at Munroe.
Prior to working at Munroe, she was the Executive Director of the Public Education Foundation of Marion County. In October of 2013, she established her own fundraising consulting business, Beth McCall, LLC. She works with Pride Philanthropy out of Atlanta, GA, Hospice of Marion County, ARC Marion Foundation, Live Oak International, and the Community Foundation of Ocala/Marion. Beth received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1973 and her Master’s Degree in Business Management and Leadership in 2003.
Her community and professional associations include current president of Ocala Women’s Network, the Board of Directors of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, and the North Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Fundraising. Beth has served on the Public Policy Institute Board of Directors, the Children’s Alliance, and the Board of Regents for Leadership Ocala/Marion, and as a mentor for Take Stock in Children. She has been recognized for her leadership skills by receiving the Junior League of Ocala’s “Three Who Care” Award , the Ocala Women’s Network “Women of Distinction” Award, and the 2005 Metropolitan Ocala Rotary Club’s distinguished Memorial Honoree. Beth was also recognized in 2006 by the Ocala Star Banner as a top 10 leader among women professionals.
She is married to Wayne McCall, an Ocala attorney. They have three children and five grandchildren.
